We believe in our members as exciting artists now and in the future. We nurture their confidence in their ideas and skills. We create theatre through long-term collaboration with them, making performances that connect our experiences across age, class, gender and race. Our devised performances are energetic, raw and fun. We specalise in making a mess on stage leaving behind a trail of chaos.
SOUNDS LiKE CHAOS employs and trains young people across all areas of our company. We offer first jobs, longer-term employment and opportunities to develop with the aim of improving their relationship with work, supporting them financially and improving our company.
We want people working in art to come from all different backgrounds so the things we see, do and remember reflect us all as a people. We want our company members to be future artists and arts leaders. To make this happen we give them professional experiences in that world now so they feel confident in the future.
“Sounds Like Chaos are an exciting young company who make brilliant work. Not just for a youth theatre not just theatre as social work but brilliant work in its own right for audiences”
