Creative oracy for school students led by artist Indie Max

Speaking Up is an immersive oracy and public speaking course designed for students in Years 7-11. This intensive week-long program focuses on honing communication skills, through creative activities, and expert-guided sessions. Facilitators and guest speakers will share their insights, as participants gain and practice valuable skills aligned with the Cambridge Oracy framework. Tailored for the unique needs of young minds.

The week concludes with a culminating performance, allowing students to showcase their newfound confidence and expressive abilities. Speaking Up is an opportunity to empower the next generation of articulate and confident leaders.

The first Speaking Up cohort took place on 2 - 5 April 2024, at The Albany, followed by a sharing.
