Ballyman is a short film by Faruq Adigun.

Ballyman is a short film by Faruq Adigun exploring the parallels between psychosis and spirituality, directed by Roisin Feeny and co-produced with SOUNDS LiKE CHAOS & VIDEOfeet.

Ballyman follows Deji, a young Black man from South East London, as he traverses through the city hiding behind his (bally) balaclava. As his mental state declines, he is forced to shield away from the world, stepping onto his new path of enlightenment.

In early 2024, Faruq did research and development with VIDEOfeet at the Albany, helping to shape and finalise the Ballyman script to what it is today.
